The presentation by Clint Peterson, VP of Engineering at Thermotron, began with an overview of the company's patent and its pertinent claims followed by a description of the advantages of the invention. Video footage of four distinct modes of repetitive shock vibration were then shown to the audience: High Frequency Mode, Low Frequency Mode, Synchronized Shock Mode and Programmable Synchronized Shock Profiling.
Thermotron recently conducted two well attended HALT & HASS seminars in Shenzhen and Shanghai China in conjunction with TTE International. Over 250 attendees received information on the topics of HALT & HASS Accelerated Stress Testing.
In overwhelming response from Intersolar North America 2011, Thermotron has developed a large scale test chamber solution to accommodate PV panels exceeding 6 feet long. The model SE-3300 Temperature/Humidity Chamber features interior dimensions of 48" wide x 52" high x 80" deep (1.9 m wide x 2 m high x 3.1 m deep).
Thermotron’s controller group has added two new features to the intuitive 8800 programmer controller specifically to meet the synchronized testing requirements of companies doing IEC solar tests.
(100+ Grms Acceleration, 1,500+ Gpk Shock, Individual Impactor Control, Amplitude and Frequency Regulation, Dual-Strike Impactors, Fatigue-Based Accelerated Testing)
Thermotron is pleased to announce exciting news sure to impact the HALT & HASS industry – game-changing news that will shake the foundation of repetitive shock vibration technology. New, advanced repetitive shock vibration systems from Thermotron featuring patented Individual Impactor Control and Monitoring provide a more concise and effective accelerated reliability tool.
