7800 Programmer Controller

The 7800 Programmer / Controller represents revolutionary technological enhancement. Additional memory capacity and increased operating speed provide a new level of performance. The 3.5 inch disk drive allows data to be transported to a PC for report generation, which could eliminate the need for a traditional chart recorder. The disk drive also acts as a convenient means to store and transport test profiles and programs. The 3.5 inch floppy disk is a widely used and inexpensive media to accomplish these data storage and transfer tasks.

Highly reliable electronic transducers allow refrigeration pressures to be conveniently monitored on the instrument screen. Thermocouples are strategically mounted throughout the operating systems to feed diagnostic information back to the controller. The high resolution 5" VGA LCD screen (320 x 240 pixels) provides a crisp visual display. The clarity of this display makes it a pleasure to work with. Each screen furnishes a wealth of information in an easy to read format.

The logical user interface makes the instrument easy to figure out without having to consult the manual. Context sensitive, on-screen, help eliminates programming and editing frustration. Easily understood soft keys with additional menus increase the functional capacity of the instrument. The full alphanumeric keyboard accommodates intuitive data entry. On-screen graphing capabilities enhance test profile monitoring and editing. This feature expands the user's ability to visualize what is actually happening in the test profile.

To increase overall laboratory efficiency, the 7800 can be retrofitted to existing environmental chambers. The instrument can be mounted vertically or horizontally depending on chamber orientation. Incorporating new instrumentation keeps older equipment up to date, allowing you to take advantage of newly developed benefits and efficiencies.

With up to four channels of control, the 7800 can be configured to manage the most intense combined environment testing. Chambers can simply be run in the manual mode for single set- point testing. Complex testing profiles can be run automatically in the program mode.

The 7800 has internal capabilities allowing it to be used for data acquisition. Our unique Product Temperature Control software optimizes chamber performance based on the actual conditions that the product is experiencing. Control modules can be added to increase the input / output capacity for demanding applications.

ThermoTrak II ™ environmental test lab management software has been specially designed to control multiple test chambers from a centralized computer, giving the operator of the chambers the ability to program, edit, regulate, monitor, and record test profiles and scheduling.
