Thermotron 8800 Programmer Controller is a notable advance in instrumentation technology. Incorporating color touch screen technology, the 8800 makes operation and data collection easier and more reliable than ever before.
A large 12-inch (30.5cm) color flat-panel display allows the user to capture and view more data on one screen than other controllers. Quick Nav buttons provide time-saving shortcuts to user-defined access screens. Quick-step wizards make profile generation a breeze while online help screens are standard for novice users. Edit-on-the-fly allows you to select any interval in order to make modifications if needed.
Thermotron's build-in System Monitor (available only on SE-series chambers) streamlines troubleshooting by providing system status displays on refrigeration system parameters and an operating system schematics screen displays actual system temperature and pressure, simplifying trouble shooting and maintenance.
The 8800 uses
The 8800 is Ethernet-compatible and provides network-wide accessibility. The 8800 is also web-enabled with an internet-ready front end for anytime/anywhere access. USB connectors are located in the front of the chamber for easy access, and USB memory devices support fast data storage and transfer. Additional program storage is only limited by hard drive space.
With up to four channels of control, the 8800 can be configured to manage the most intense combined environment testing. Chambers can simply be run in the manual mode for single set- point testing. Complex testing profiles can be run automatically in the program mode.
The data collection process is now even better with Thermotron’s new 8800 Data Acquisition (DAQ) system. This system greatly increases the 8800's capabilities for product monitoring, control and data collection without the need for additional software or test equipment. Available in several configurations depending on chamber application, the 8800 DAQ reduces development time and cost because it is a completely designed and programmed custom test system for data collection and control tasks. Standard SE-Series chambers now come with three digital outputs and two analog outputs as well as one additional thermocouple input, all configurable through the 8800 display. Thermotron also offers expanded capabilities including additional analog and digital inputs/outputs or thermocouple inputs.
