Altitude Test Chambers

 

Thermotron's FA series altitude test chambers allow you to combine temperature and altitude with optional humidity for simultaneous environment testing. Utilizing an FA series chamber you can control the temperature while subjecting the product to various altitudes up to 100,000 feet standard. This combination of elements allows you to precisely simulate any real-life conditions a product might face and allows for a wide range of test profiles to be performed.

Apart from its commercial and military aerospace applications, altitude chambers are used for automotive tests to simulate mountainous conditions and to test computers, electronics and packaging materials that may be shipped via air freight.

FA series chambers are reach-in models with capacities from 4 to 96 cubic feet (113 to 2,718 liters). Custom walk-in models with greater capacities are also available. Thermotron has also designed and manufactured FA chambers with 200,000 feet capabilities. These chambers are capable of reaching temperatures from -73°C to +177°C (-100°F to +350°F). The optional humidity system is able to produce humidity levels from 20% to 95% RH. In offering multiple sizes and different configurations, Thermotron provides flexibility and ensures the right altitude/vacuum chamber to fit your testing requirements.

Thermotron's exclusive 8800 programmer/controller offers a brilliant 12-inch color touch screen display making operation and data collection easier and more reliable than ever. The familiar look and feel supports robust operations and increased data access on a single screen. The 8800 features a built-in Ethernet connection and is web-enabled with an Internet ready front end for virtual anytime/anywhere access.
