Ideal for performing Highly Accelerated Life Testing (HALT) on medium sized products, Thermotron’s AST-30 combines excellent performance with a small footprint. A patented multi-axis vibration table with a rapid thermal change rate system, the AST-30 provides the ideal environment for optimizing product designs.
Able to interface several sizes of repetitive shock shaker tables including the RS-24, RS-28, RS-32 and RS-36, the AST-30 can easily fulfill your testing requirements. Each shaker is multi-axis, and is capable of producing acceleration levels in excess of 50 grms. This patented vibration system provides consistent power spectral density energy over a broad frequency range.
Capable of imparting extreme thermal stresses, the AST-30 has high rates of temperature change in excess of 50°C/min. An air slot and adjustable ducts allows the user to configure high volume, high velocity airflow in order to maximize thermal stress directly on the product, accelerating product failure rates.
With an overall height being substantially lower than many comparable Accelerated Stress Test systems, the AST-30 can be transported in a standard shipping container and makes move-in and installation an easier and smoother process.
The AST-8800 control system's intuitive graphical user interface makes the AST-30 easy to use. The 17-inch flat panel monitor displays power spectral density, temperature and acceleration data on easy-to-read screens. The controller is Ethernet-compatible and web-enabled with an internet-ready front end for virtual anytime/anywhere access.
