Providing plenty of capacity, Thermotron’s AST-70 can be used to perform Highly Accelerated Stress Screening (HASS), Highly Accelerated Screen Audits (HASA) or as a Highly Accelerated Life Testing (HALT) chamber for large rack or cabinet type products. Combining the patented multi-axis vibration table and rapid thermal change rate system the AST-70 is an ideal environment for optimizing product reliability.
The AST-70 can interface with the RS-44 or RS-48 size repetitive shock shaker table depending on your testing requirements. Each of these shakers are multi-axis, repetitive shock vibration tables capable of producing acceleration levels in excess of 50 grms and providing consistent power spectral density energy over a broad frequency range. Direct coupling of the product under test to the vibration table transmits maximum dynamic stress into the product.
Extreme thermal stresses are imparted to products through high temperature change rates in excess of 70°C/min. The chamber’s high volume, high velocity airflow is configured through a slot and adjustable ducts, maximizing thermal stress direction imposed on the product.
