S-4T Refrigeration Trainer
The S-4T Refrigeration Trainer is a self-contained training unit that allows students to build a functional refrigeration and heating system. The S-4T gives a clean and professional appearance to any program's classroom setting. Very little is mounted on the exterior of the training cabinet to streamline the equipment. Casters are included to permit mobility of the trainer in the lab/classroom. When not in use, the trainer can be stocked with inventory, locked-up and safely moved to an out-of-the-way storage location. Instructors have the ability to inject failures or faults into the Trainer that students must troubleshoot and repair, forcing the student to learn and perfect skills. The Trainer is very versatile and can be used for programs to teach adult education, community education, and high school through college level programs. The S-4T can be tailored to meet the needs of students with a wide range of skill sets and experience levels, from beginner to advanced levels.

- Electrical Disconnect Switch disables power when the door is open.
- Plexiglas guard over the rear plenum wall provides finger safe protection from circulator fan blades, cold evaporator coil and hot heater elements.
- Power cord comes out of the top of the unit to eliminate tripping hazards on the floor.
- An insulated and conditioned test space controls high and low temperatures. The Trainer can be run for extended periods of time.
- 16 gauge sheet metal exterior walls and corrosion resistant stainless steel interior will stand up to years of student usage.
- Lift-off doors and panels provide full access to mechanical and electrical assembly areas.
- 2" diameter port allows student to access the inside of the cabinet. The port comes with an insulating foam plug to minimize heat leak.
- Casters for mobility into and throughout lab.
- Clean top and sides, nothing mounted externally.
- Rear valve box with removable valve panels, circulator motor, and junction box.
