Created for customers with high throughput expectations or a large sized product, SL-Series Environmental Test chambers provide increased capacity for such large test requirements. With increased internal dimensions these chambers are capable of handing products loads with dimensions in excess of 48 inches (122 cm) or for testing high volumes of small products.
Available in sizes ranging from 52 to 88 cubic ft (1,474, to 2,497 liters), Thermotron is sure to have the exact chamber that best meets your environmental test criteria. Selectable high performance compressor sizes from 15 to 25 horsepower or larger allow performance to be tailored to meet individual client or industry specific needs.
SL-Series Test Chambers are able to perform both high and low temperature tests and can provide a temperature range of -70°C to +180°C (-94°F to +356°F). A wide humidity range is accurately controlled with an advanced and highly reliable humidity system. Electronic humidity sensors provide superior long-term testing results and reduce the maintenance requirements inherent to dry bulb/wet bulb systems.
The innovative Universal Port located in the side wall of the chamber is an option that allows SL-Series chambers to interface with slide-up modules, expanding your chamber's ability to perform thermal shock tests, HALT and HASS, product test system integration and remote conditioning applications. The Universal Port can be added to new or existing SL-Series chambers, increasing the flexibility and productivity of your investment.
SL-Series chambers utilize Thermotron's exclusive 8800 Programmer Controller. The brilliant 12-inch color touch screen display makes operation and data collection easier and more reliable than ever. The familiar Windows® look and feel supports robust operations and increased data access on a single screen. The 8800 features a built-in Ethernet connection and is web-enabled with an Internet ready front end for virtual anytime/anywhere access.
