Sunload Enclosures

More Information

Designed to simulate the effects of blinding hot sunlight on products and materials, Thermotron's Sunload Enclosures use solar heat load rather than lamps to test automotive components and subassemblies. This chamber has been successfully used to test automotive components such as dashboards, steering wheels, plastics and fabrics and can easily be adapted for use in the materials, fabrics and plastics industries.

Constructed of quality materials, the enclosure features bi-parting hinged doors allowing for full access to the large workspace. Each door features a large 20" x 20" window for product viewing during test.

Using radiant heaters for heat production, Sunload Enclosures are capable of reaching a temperature range from +100°C to +125°C (+212°F to +257°F). Adjustable vents allow ambient air to be circulated around the enclosure for cooling.

Thermotron's Sunload Enclosures are equipped with the 8200 Programmer/Controller. The 8200 with its 7-inch widescreen touch screen color display makes program entry and product monitoring easy. A USB port provides convenient data export capabilities. The built-in Ethernet connection allows for PC control and recording test data, while the web server feature enables remote access.
