Thermotron’s WinVCS 2 Software is designed to be fully compatible with our powerful vibration test equipment or combined environment test systems.
The software offers a full range of application capabilities for vibration control and analysis including accurate sine, random, shock, resonant search and dwell, random-on-random and sine-on-random and sine-on-random capabilities. Real Data Acquisition and Playback (RDAP) capabilities allows actual vibration data to be recorded in the field regarding product performance under normal operating conditions.
With easy to use software, the WinVCS 2 minimizes training time and makes set up and report generation quick and painless. Featuring point-and-click operation with a familiar Windows™ feel, the WinVCS 2 has been designed with menu-driven software and color graphics. A library of preprogrammed vibration profiles, conforming to many preset test specifications simplifies set-up and operation. The software allows for up to four displays to be viewed simultaneously and is also capable of automatically running test scheduling and profile sequencing, including switching vibration control modes from sine to shock to random.
For customers performing combined environment testing with vibration, this software allows a single graphical interface to control the chamber and vibration software. The WinVCS 2 has unparalleled performance capabilities. With a user selectable frequency range up to 3,000 Hz and a user selectable resolution up 3,200 lines, the WinVCS 2 offers an excellent performance value. Scalable tolerance and abort limits are applied to each vibration profile. The operator has the added capability of setting not-to-exceed monitor input limits for vibration variables such as acceleration, velocity or displacement. Thermotron’s WinVCS 2 keeps demanding vibration requirements within tolerance, ensuring accurate control.
A large, 21” widescreen color LCD monitor displays vibration control information such as power spectral density and acceleration data on one half of the display and temperature control information on the other. Using easy-to-read screens, the control system allows for users to define temperature and vibration profiles and control multiple accelerometers and thermocouples. Ethernet-compatible and web-enabled with an Internet ready front end provides virtual anytime/anywhere access.
