Controller Retrofits

Continuous improvement of electronics causes components to become obsolete and discontinued. Obsolete controllers that can no longer be repaired pose a serious downtime risk to your test schedules.

Refrigerant Retrofits

Customers who cannot risk downtime caused by limited CFC availability, or anyone concerned by the high cost of CFC's should consider a refrigerant retrofit. It is especially important to evaluate costs if you have a failure resulting in CFC refrigerant loss or mixed refrigerant due to a cascade failure. Frequently the cost of a couple of system recharges would pay for a full system retrofit. Customers who wish to prolong the life of their systems should consider refrigeration upgrades.

Vibration System Upgrades

Thermotron's hardware and software engineering staff have developed new software, vibration control systems and amplifiers that rival the best equipment available on the market. Walk-In Panel Box Replacements or Modifications

Frequently, walk-in panel boxes wear out before the chamber machinery. We offer full service replacement. If you would like to modify the configuration of your existing box, make it larger or smaller, we can help you with that as well.

Site Surveys

Thermotron's Aftermarket Specialist is available to meet with you at your facility for large scale retrofit purchases. If you are planning in the future to retrofit 20 or more chambers this is the tool for you. While on-site, a full inventory of your existing equipment and it's accessories will be taken. That information will be analyzed and quotations developed for potential retrofits. A quote book will be developed with information on each individual chamber.

Equipment Relocation Support Services

Thermotron Product Support is uniquely qualified to relocate your test equipment. Thermotron Service Engineers can handle any move; whether it is just across the hall or all the way across the globe. We can provide a single Service Engineer or a team of professionals to complete your move in a timely manner. The equipment will be run before decommissioning to document performance, and comparison start-up tests will be performed after re-installation is finalized. Our Service Engineer(s) will recalibrate each machine with the correct, properly maintained and certified instruments. A2LA accredited recalibration service is available if required.

Performance Upgrades

Upsize compressor machinery, coils, LN2 assist, fans, valves and install additional heat. If you need faster transition rates, this may be the answer. Or, if you are happy with your current performance but the machinery section has seen better days we can replace the existing section with one that is newly manufactured.

Universal Port Add-On

Thermotron's patented Universal Port, can be retrofitted to an existing SE Chamber. The Universal Port expands the capabilities of our SE-Series environmental test chambers, increases test system utilization, reduces capital investment and makes your test lab more productive. Allowing these chambers to interface with interchangeable accessories and tools enhances chamber performance and utility.
