With the integration of a universal port in the side of an SE or SL series chamber, the test chamber is a candidate for a multitude of modular transformations: the chamber becomes a gateway to future expandability and interchangeability.

The patented Universal Port is an oversized portal installed at a pre-determined location in the sidewall on Thermotron's most popular SE-Series and SL-Series environmental test chambers. Through this portal, you can interface interchangeable accessories and tools that enhance the performance and utility of the environmental chamber. The stainless steel port sleeve is designed to reduce moisture migration and heat leak. A full-sealing structural plug fills the portal and provides a pressurized fit.

The Universal Port occupies common sidewall space and elevation consistent between chamber lines and models. It is this consistency that permits the Universal Port concept to adapt to so many modifications and configurations.
